"Wildcat Chris Harris stalked into the wrestling scene eight years ago, focusing his energies on local shows and wrestling promotions. Making his professional debut in November 1994, this native of Fort Wright, Kentucky knew what he wanted, and like a hungry predator pursued his wrestling career. Harris signed a contract with WCW (World Championship Wrestling) in 2000 after having a successful stand in one of WCW's
developmental promotions in Nashville, Tennessee. WCW was then bought out by WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), which put Wildcat out on the prowl again.
After the set back with WCW Wildcat returned to the city that got him to the big leagues before, Nashville. There he took part in a "Legends Night" on June 1, 2002. Harris faced off against "Tennessee Cowboy" James Storm in what is now considered of the years best wrestling matches. It was that match that got Harris his next big contract.
The contract was with the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) and it put Harris as a part of the groundbreaking NWA-TNA (Total Nonstop Action), the first-ever original weekly pay-per-view wrestling series on iNDEMAND, DIRECT -TV and Cable-Vision. Another star to get a contract was Harris' adversary from Nashville, James Storm. They were teamed together and since every one from the match at the "Legends Night" was picked up by NWA, even the referee, they called them selves "America's Most Wanted".
Harris and Storm don't have much in common outside the ring, one from the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio and the other from a farm in the hills of Tennessee, but in the ring they are unstoppable. Harris might not like Storm for bring guns to the ring and shooting them off before every match, but he knows that when the bell rings, any differences between the two have become an asset to "America's Most Wanted."
In the NWA World Tag Team Tournament last July, Harris ands Storm had qualified for the finals, only to have relinquish their spot due to injuries. However, they did not let themselves get off track and kept their sights set on the belts. They finally got their chance when on September 18, they defeated Ron Harris and Brian Lee after
surviving a ten-team "Gaulet for the Gold" (a mix between a Royal Rumble tag-team match) for the titles.
Harris has branched out of the wrestling world to explore other entertainment venues as well. In 2000, he appeared in Clay Davidson's country music video "I Can't Lie to Me". The video, released in the fall of 2000,
topped CMT's charts. He continues to seek opportunities to reach he prevalent and ever-growing fan base.
Aware of the prestige that comes with holding the NWA World Tag Team Championship, Harris modestly admits that, "Just to look at some of the teams that have held these belts...for our names to now be included, it's an honor."
America's Most Wanted have vowed to take on all on comers, and are looking forward to taking on the best tag teams that NWA has to offer. For those would be teams all they have to say is "Sorry about your damn luck!"
