Words From 'Wildcat'

Happy & Back in Shape

Not much of an update to give.  The WWE is known to put everything they have into the Wrestlemania show every year.  Many times they wait until after that to give the shows a fresh start with new characters.  Hopefully I will be in that mix.  No word on what brand I will be in, but the truth is...it doesn't matter.  I will be put where I am needed.  Anywhere I go it will be an uphill battle!

I have already seen some new characters debut.  I spoke to Ron Killings the other day and they should be bringing him in soon as well.  It is hard to be patient when wrestling is what I love to do, but I know that is how the business works.  The dark match I had was a great experience.  Many have seen online a picture from that match.  For the record, the singlet was my idea.  With going to a different company I thought of making some changes.  Many of you know of my history with Curt Hennig.  I have a singlet of his that was given to me after he past.  I tried it on and actually liked the look and feel.  I had one made (without the wildcat logo...just in case) and wore it for the match.  I have had good feedback with it so that is something I may stick with.  I also had gotten in really good shape.  Many remember in my final days of TNA I wasn't looking my best.  With my passion gone, I lost my motivation to work as hard in the gym.  My diet wasn't the best either.  With my time off after TNA I had nothing to do but work out every day and get my diet back to what it was.  I put on over 20 lbs and felt great.  You can tell in the picture that I was much bigger.

I met a lot of the guys that day.  Many I already knew from WCW and even TNA.  Some I had never met before and I was both anxious and nervous to meet some of my idols.  I have to say that they all treated me very well and I respect them even more for that.  This includes Triple H, Ric Flair, Undertaker, and even Shawn Michaels. (although Shawn told me not to tell anyone cause it would ruin his reputation)  I did spend some time in Tampa at their training center, but that was for my own good.  I had been off for months and needed to get back in the ring.  Tom Pritchard and Steve Keirn were great with me and run a great operation there and are awesome instructors.

I have kept in touch with some of my close friends from TNA and am happy they are doing well.  Sometimes I still watch the show and roll my eyes, but some things never change.  You don't have many true friends in this business so it is nice to know that I left that part of my life with a few.

Thank you for all of the support you have given me.  I have tried to keep up with the e-mails.  Wish I could say I will see you soon, but I'm not sure of that yet.  I'm looking forward to my new journey and hope to continue to make you proud.  Here's to continuing to live the dream!
